Summary:

A recent study from Oxford, Edinburgh, and Swansea universities, published in the International Journal of Epidemiology, reveals alarming findings regarding Covid vaccine effectiveness. The research indicates that while vaccines initially provide protection against hospitalisation and death, this effect reverses within 60-80 days post-vaccination, leading to a higher risk for vaccinated individuals compared to the unvaccinated. The analysis, which employed a ‘Target Trial’ design, examined data across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. It found that AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines initially offered safety but showed negative effectiveness after a couple of months. The study suggests that those vaccinated may have engaged in riskier behaviours or that the unvaccinated might have had prior natural immunity. These findings raise serious questions about the safety and efficacy of vaccines, urging a reevaluation of vaccination strategies, particularly for non-vulnerable groups.
